Arrival in Korea

I have arrived in Korea as a participant in the TaLK Scholars program. This is a Korean government program that sends native English speakers into the rural areas of Korea to teach English in elementary schools.

I have spent my first day at the orientation venue in which I will be spending a month. Here they will teach us what we should expect and how to do our job.

The dorm room I will be staying in during orientation

The bathroom. It is cool how the shower floor and bathroom floor are the same...it makes everything wet though..

I cant sleep because of the Jet Lag, I hope to get over it soon. I am excited to explore my surroundings and figure out the basics of living here. I am excited to spend the next 6 months living here, this is my first time actually living in a foreign country.

Everything is made out of Neon

Even churches it seems hah

first "meal" in Korea, Squid Chips and Lemon soda!!
